29 CFR 1910.243(e)(1)(ii): All power-driven chains, belts, and gears were not positioned or otherwise guarded to prevent the operator's accidental contact therewith, during normal starting, mounting, and operation of the machine: a) 829 Paramount Ave, Lampeter, PA; An employee was mowing grass while operating a John Deere Lawnmower Model Number: 2950A without having the mower deck belts guarded, on or about 08/04/2015. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
