OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): OSH ACT of 1970 Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that the employees were exposed to struck by hazards: (a) Location - New Estate Road, Littleton, MA: On or about 6/23/15, the employer failed to plan, establish and implement a safe work plan for removing tree limbs and for free dropping sections of the tree that considers safely positioning ground workers out of the drop zone.
