Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that: Fire and explosion from inadequate ventilation: a) 3009 South White Post Way, Eagle, Idaho - On or about May 16, 1989 and at times prior thereto, ventilation was not provided to remove potential hazardous concentrations of lacquer vapor from the Sun Room and the breakfast nook during the mixing and the spraying operation, as required by codes and standards of the National Fire Protection Association.
