29 CFR 1910.243(e)(1)(i): Power lawnmowers of the walk-behind, riding-rotary, and reel power lawnmowers shall be guarded in accordance with the machine guarding requirements in 29 CFR 1910.212, General requirements for all machines. a) On or about 06/06/2015 at 4306 Shimerville Road, Clarence, NY 14031; where a Lesco Commercialplus Ztwo (25 KAW/60 inch) riding mower was operated without the deflector for the discharge chute exposing employees to "struck by" hazards from rocks and debris. b) On or about 07/07/2015 at 5133 Tonawanda Creek Road, Pendleton, NY 14120; where a riding mower was operated with the deflector for the grass chute in the "up" position, exposing employees to "struck by" hazards from rocks and debris.
