29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye protection when exposed to eye hazards from flying particles, liquid chemicals: a) On or about 05/28/15 in the Exhaust Muffler Hanger Department; employer failed to protect employees involved in disconnecting the liquid hardener spray unit from being sprayed in the eyes with a flammable liquid and eye irritant when safety glasses were used as eye protection instead of goggles as described in the SDS for Mineral Spirits Odorless.
