P.L. 91-596 Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health %% Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: (a) Non-Ferrous Metals Warehouse - Employee(s) operating the CLARK industrial truck, Model Number GCS15, Serial Number G127-00757090F15, did not use the seat belt to prevent them from being accidentally thrown, on or about 10/26/93. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct his hazard is: Ensure that employee(s) utilize seat belts while operating industrial trucks.
