29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): In any workplace where respirators were necessary to protect the health of the employee or whenever respirators were required by the employer, the employer did not establish and implement a written respiratory protection program with worksite-specific procedures. The program was not updated as necessary to reflect those changes in workplace conditions that affect respirator use. a. Kremer's Guns LLC located in Celina, Ohio: The employer did not develop and implement a written respiratory protection program which covered employees who were required to wear a half face tight fitting MSA respirator when overexposed to lead while performing a bi-monthly cleaning operation in the shooting range. On May 21, 2015, an employee was over exposed to lead at 909 ug/m3 when cleaning the shooting range which exceeded the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) of 50 ug/m3 by 1818%.
