29 CFR 1910.176(b): 29 CFR 1910.176(b): The storage of material shall created a hazard. Items such as bags, containers, bundles, etc., were not stored in tiers and stacked, blocked, interlocked and limited in height so that they were stable and secure against sliding or collapse. At the Pier 1 Imports warehouse located at 2200 Heritage Parkway, Mansfield TX, storage racks had damaged vertical and horizontal upright components. Employees were exposed to falling objects and struck-by hazards created by potential structural failure and collapse of storage rack systems. 1. Horizontal Support Located at 56-21-402-6 2.
