29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent) and toeboards: Note: Toeboards are only required when persons can pass, there is moving equipment or there is equipment with which falling materials could create a hazard. a. On or about April 30, 2015, at the facility of FWD/Seagrave Fire Apparatus, located at 105 E. 12th Street Clintonville, WI 54929, employees in the Body Weld Area were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet from working on top of truck bodies while installing cabinets and covers for the rear portions of fire trucks.
