29 CFR 1926.300(b)(5): Where the periphery of fan blades was less than 7 feet (2.13 m) above the floor or working level, blades were not guarded: a) Worksite, Race Ln and Railroad Ave, East Hampton NY - Employee was storing a jack hammer in an Ingersoll Rand 185 Air Compressor. A rotating fan blade was missing the guard; on or about 4/16/15. Note: In addition to abatement certification the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
