Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: the employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a struck by hazard: a. At the perimeter of the refurbishing building, employees were exposed to a struck by hazard, in that, the canopies constructed around the building were supported by a stack of pallets and were constructed by splicing pallet wood and other scrap wood causing them to have sagging roofs which were leaning, on or about 03/18/2015.
