29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns: (a) Pooler construction site, on or about, and at times preceding to March 9, 2015, employees working on ground and lower levels who were exposed to being struck-by wooden boards, equipment, and nails were not protected by the use of hard hats.
