OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees to amputations hazards: (a) For the establishment doing business as Arrow Sheet Metal Works, Inc. located at 2710 N. 36th Street Tampa (FL). An employee operating an unguarded Renegade 1 HP 12 Speed Heavy Duty Drill Press, model K3032, serial 0076, was allowed to wear leather gloves for hand protection when wiping away metal shavings, on or about February 25, 2015.
