Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of the 1970 Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to being crushed under overturned riding mowers in that: (a) On or about August 23, 1993 there was no roller protection on the Toro Groundmaster 322-D SN#81267 being used to mow the "rough" on the hill side next to and on the left side of #13 green. Among Other Methods, One Feasible And Acceptable Abatement To Correct The Hazard Is: Install overhead protection for the operator that conforms to the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.1003.
