Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a) Lake Joy Road, Warner Robins, Ga - Employees exposed to contact with energized 7200 volt bare conductors without grounding or guarding the energized conductors, nor was truck grounded, on or about October 1990. Among other methods, a feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is as follows: 1) Have a supervisor on site at all times. 2) Install grounds at both ends of work section. 3) Install guards, barriers, line hoses and/or blankes on energized parts. 4) Conduct additional training to employees regarding the use of personal protective equipment.
