Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employmnent and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to falling rollup doors: STEAM ROOM: THE ROLLUP DOOR WAS RAISED WITH A FORK TRUCK AND THEN PROPPED OPEN WITH STEEL PIPES. AMONG OTHER METHODS ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD WOULD BE TO INSTALL HARDWARE AND COUNTERWEIGHTS OR SPRINGS THAT WOULD AID IN RAISING THE DOOR AND WOULD SECURELY HOLD THE DOOR WHEN IT WAS IN THE RAISED POSITION.
