29 CFR 1926.501(b)(15): Each employee on a walking/working surface 6 feet (1.8 meters) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: The employer does not ensure that each employee walking/working surface 6 feet (1.8 meters) or more above lower levels was protected from falling by a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. This violation occurred on or about January 16, 2015 when employees were exposed to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet when accessing a scaffold platform without using guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that employees on a walking/working surface 6 feet (1.8 meters) or more above lower levels are protected from falling by a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.
