29 CFR 1910.67(c)(2)(v): A body belt with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift: In the following instances a body belt with a lanyard attached to the basket was not worn by worker(s) in an aerial lift: a) Dryer and Furnace Structure - On or about January 8, 2015, a mill employee did not wear fall protection while being transported in an aerial lift by a contractor to the top of the pellet dryer. b) Dryer and Furnace Structure - On or about January 8, 2015, a mill employee climbed back into the unoccupied basket of an aerial lift without fall protection immediately after a contractor fell from the elevated lift.
