Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a) Being struck and/or crushed by the 1968 International Dump Truck, vehicle identification number 416060H34190, operated in Field #11W on or about August 23, 1987. Among other method, feasible and acceptable abatement methods to correct this hazard are the installation of operable brakes, and mirrors to give vision ot the rear on both sides of the truck body, and an operable horn and doors or alternative restraints such as webbing or seat belts.
