Abstract: At 3:00 p.m. on May 17, 2017, Employee #1 and five coworkers, employed by a solar energy company, were installing solar panels on an existing two-story single family residence. Employee #1 was on the roof. He removed the primary fall protection anchor and began to walk toward the ladder. When he was approximately 2 feet from the ladder, he fell from the roof onto a concrete paver patio. Emergency services were called, and Employee #1 was transported to the hospital. He was admitted and treated for fractures of the pelvis.
