Abstract: At 11:30 a.m. on August 24, 2017, an employee was checking out and renting mechanical animals. The rear left wheel on the mechanical elephant was stuck and the employee put the elephant on its back and slide the cloth skirt up that covers the wheel housing. The employee unplugged the elephant and was removing hair that had wrapped around the wheel when the chain moved and caught his finger. The employee suffered a laceration to the tip of his left index finger and was transported by OCFA to the Chapman Medical Center. Hospitalization was not required.
