Abstract: At 1:00 p.m. on August 15, 2016, an employee was preparing to install the Sweep Augers on a corn silo. The employee stepped onto a 9-inch running floor auger a nd it scraped the bottom of his foot, amputating some skin. The employee suffere d a pulmonary embolism and died.
