Abstract: At approximately 10:00 a.m. on June 30, 2008, an employee suddenly felt pains to arms and chest, and fell to his knees while he was working for Downey Sign and Lighting. The employee later stated that he suffered a heart attack while he was digging a hole to be used as a base for the sign they were installing. The employee was transported to Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital where he stayed for six nights for treatment of his heart condition. The employee suffered a heart attack while digging an excavation for sign's concrete base.
