Abstract: Employee #1 was ripping a piece of plywood on a 10-in. portable table saw manufactured by Roybi. The plywood became stuck half way through the blade requiring Employee #1 to push even harder in order to complete the cut. The accident happened so fast that Employee #1 could not remember how he came in contact with the moving saw blade. The table saw involved in this accident was later inspected and found to be in fair condition with all required safety devices properly attached in place. Employee #1 sustained the amputation of unspecified fingers and was hospitalized.
