Abstract: At approximately 3:35 p.m. on July 1, 2005, an explosion occurred at The Andersons Inc. grain elevator facility located in Toledo, Ohio. The loss of property and produce is estimated at 25 million dollars, as well as an estimated 1 year to rebuild the damaged components of the facility. There were no injuries reported as the work shift had ended at 3:00 p.m. and no employees were on the site. The source of the fire/explosion could not be confirmed due to the extensive damage resulting from the explosion.
