Abstract: At approximately 7:00 p.m. on January 31, 2006, three employees with MV Transportation, Inc. were cleaning three 8-seat paratransit buses (Vehicle #1: Unit 570, Vehicle #2: Unit 709, and Vehicle #3: Unit 400) lined up in a wash area. Employee #1 was standing between vehicle #1 and Vehicle #2, washing the exterior of Vehicle #1. After cleaning the interior of vehicle #3, a coworker moved that vehicle forward. Vehicle #3 then struck vehicle #2, pushing it forward and pinning Employee #1's right leg between Vehicle #2 and Vehicle #1. A second coworker then moved Vehicle #1 forward to free Employee #1. He was hospitalized for a right femur fracture, and underwent surgery.
