Abstract: On October 22, 2001, Employee #1, engaged in deck cable steering operation, was holding a 60-pound pump over his head while a coworker was operating it. Employee #1's index finger was crushed between the cable steering pump and a 7-ft A-frame aluminum ladder. He was hospitalized with a fractured and lacerated tendon.
