Abstract: At approximately 4:00 a.m. on October 27, 2006, Employee #1 was connecting two Wasp Manufacturing dollies together, each weighing about 2,300 lbs. A coworker, assisted him by giving the dolly a push from behind. However, the coworker pushed too hard and Employee #1's fingers were caught between the two dollies. Due to the slight slope on the field ramp, the push into the dolly gave it too much speed and Employee #1 was unable to get his hand out of the way when trying to connect the tongue and hitch together. Employee #1 sustained a partial amputation to his middle and ring fingers. His index finger, however, was reattached. Hospitalization was not necessary.
