Abstract: At approximately 9:00 a.m. on December 21, 2000, an employee was installing drywall from an elevated work platform at an indoor construction project. The employee was working at a height of approximately 16 feet when the platform became unbalanced. The employee shifted his weight to maintain his balance, but was unsuccessful. The platform lost its stability and fell over, throwing the employee to the ground. The employee later died from head injuries sustained in the fall.
