Abstract: At approximately 7:30 a.m. on August 12, 2004, Employee #1 was framing a new house. The first floor walls had been erected and Employee #1's supervisor instructed him to begin laying the metal straps in the garage. The plumb line crew put up the truss beam support the day before. The interior truss brace supports in the garage were not nailed at the bottom. Employee #1 climbed on top of the wall and started laying the straps. As he approached the third beam, the wall started to wobble. He jumped and fell 9 ft to the concrete floor. He fractured his right leg and was hospitalized.
