Abstract: On September 16, 2004, Employee #1 was nailing ledgers during the construction of a school building. His procedure was to work from a ladder while using a pneumatic nail gun. On the day of the accident, he grasped the gun, with his finger on the trigger, and took a misstep. As he tried to balance himself, the gun hit his knee and shot a nail into his knee. He was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Burbank, CA, where he was hospitalized with his injury.
