Abstract: At approximately 1:15 p.m. on August 18, 2003, Employee #1 was working at a building construction site, metal-stud framing off a scaffold. He was carrying a piece of plywood. As Employee #1 walked, he stepped off the planking, falling approximately 5 ft, striking the building footing and then hitting the ground. Employee #1 sustained a fractured right leg for which hospitalization was required.
