Abstract: At approximately 3:30 p.m. on September 20, 2002, Employee #1, a stacker with 9 months of experience for Cimarron Construction, Inc., was stacking the lower garage area of a two-story residence at a multi-unit residential construction site. He had installed four 2 by 4 trusses and was in the process of installing a jack truss when he put his left foot on the truss he had just toe-nailed in place. It gave way under him and Employee #1 fell 10 ft 6 in. onto the cement floor of the garage. His hands struck the pavement first, fracturing both of his wrists.
