Abstract: At approximately 3:00 p.m. on July 15, 2003, an employee was working on multiple air-conditioning units on the roof of the site. He was changing a compressor fan of air- conditioning Unit Number 11. Apparently, the employee did not secure breaker located on the unit. He disconnected the old fan and replaced the fan. When he began to wire the new fan he received an electrical shock. The president and Owner of the corporation began trying to reach the employee by phone and pager at 4:15 p.m. The owner proceeded to the site after he was unable to reach the employee. The owner discovered the employee inside the unit at 5:05 p.m. The owner found that the employee was unresponsive and called emergency medical services at 5:06 p.m. Chesapeake Police and Fire Department arrived on scene and pronounced the employee dead after no vitals were checked.
