Abstract: Employee #1 was using a horse scaffold and a 6 ft stepladder to install drywall in a room addition. He leaned the horse frame against the wall and the ladder and was working from a scaffold plan when the frame slid out along the smooth, clean, concrete floor. Employee #1 fell approximately 2 ft to the floor, suffering a compound fracture of his leg. He did not use an appropriate method for setting up the scaffold.
