Abstract: On August 17, 2002, Employee #1, a food clerk at a Safeway grocery store, was using a towmotor pallet mover to return a shipment of cookies to the back room. He set the pallet in front of the dairy box and was backing away the towmotor when his left hand became caught against the dairy box, crushing his index finger. He was hospitalized with his injury.
