Abstract: At 3:30 p.m. on May 9, 2022, Employee #1 and Employee #2 were installing a pipeline in a trench. When preparing to receive the pipe in the trench, the trench collapsed. Both Employee #1 and Employee #2 were engulfed by the collapsed soil and killed. Employee #2 was unaccounted for at the scene for a period of time but was later located by rescuers during recovery operations.
