Abstract: Between approximately 8:00 and 8:30 p.m. on December 27, 1988, Employee #1, a truck driver, parked his truck and disconnected an empty trailer that had contained dimethyl sulfide (DMS). After placing the tractor's gear shift in low to drive away, he suffered a fatal heart attack. At approximately 9:00 p.m., he was discovered slumped over in the cab. Employee #1 was pronounced dead by the medical examiner at approximately 10:36 p.m.
