Abstract: At approximately 2:30 p.m. on September 9, 1991, Employee #1 was running a surveyor's level on the south side shoulder of a highway bridge and was struck by a pickup truck operating on the shoulder of the road. He suffered fractures to the head and pelvis from impact with the vehicle and from striking the guardrail of the bridge. EMS arrived on the scene at approximately 2:55 p.m. The Life Flight helicopter was called at approximately 3:00 p.m. and Employee #1 was transferred to Hermann Hospital at approximately 3:40 p.m. He died at 8:17 p.m.
