Abstract: At 9:45 a.m. on August 22, 2020, an employee working as a machine operator for a commercial bakery was cleaning excess cookie dough off the dough hopper. The employee worked directly for the employer. The employee was working in the mixing area cleaning the dough off the hopper by hand when his finger contacted the unguarded portion of a pinch point. The employee partially amputated a finger, requiring medical treatment without hospitalization.
