Abstract: At 12:00 p.m. on September 10, 2024, Employee #1 was attempting to wire a well pump when the employee used wire strippers to remove sheathing from wires in preparation for a voltage test. The wire strippers made contact with live conductors, causing an electrical shock. The shock caused the employee to fall to the ground onto their chest and prevented the employee from breaking the electrical pathway. The 220V circuit eventually tripped the breaker, allowing the employee to call for help. The employee was transported to the hospital and admitted for treatment of the electrical shock.
