At 5:15 p.m. on August 17, 2020, Employee #1, employed by an electrical services company, was working from a boom truck's basket and replacing fluorescent light s with LED light sets on an outdoor commercial sign. The basket, which lacked e lectrical insulation, was too close to an overhead power line. Employee #1 made contact with the power line and was exposed to 7,200 volts of electricity. He was killed by electrocution.
