Abstract: At 4:30 p.m. on January 17, 2020, an employee was attempting to separate metal square tubing. The employee decided to move the square metal tubing with his hand instead of using a hand tool. While attempting to position the tubing, the tubing rolled and bounced back from the railing that was holding it, causing the employee's finger to be caught between two pieces of tubing. The employee pulled his hand from the glove, but the glove was still stuck in between the tubing. The employee was hospitalized to treat an amputation of the tip of the left right finger.
