Abstract: At 7:45 p.m. on March 29, 2019, Employee #1 was engaged in the dismantling of a manufacturing plant's metal roof. He was walking on the roof when he stepped onto an unguarded, flush-mounted translucent skylight. The employee fell through the skylight and impacted the lower metal deck plate. Emergency services transported the employee to the hospital, where he was admitted for treatment of injuries that included two fractured vertebrae in his neck, a collapsed lung, lacerations, and contusions.
