Abstract: At 9:00 a.m. on March 14, 2018, Employee #1, employed by a construction company, was working at a heavy construction drilling site. He was measuring the depth of the hole when the auger being used for drilling caught and cut his safety lanyard. Employee #1 fell into the hole, a fall height of 26.5 feet. Emergency services were called. Employee #1 was extracted from the hole and transported to the hospital. He was admitted and treated for multiple injuries, including fractures to his back, pelvis, arm and ribs.
