Abstract: At 2:30 p.m. on December 19, 2017, Employee #1, employed by a construction company, was working at a multiemployer construction project for a new building. He was dragging a hose from the work area when the hose snagged on some concrete. As Employee #1 attempted to free the hose, he fell and struck his face against exposed rebar. Emergency services were called, and Employee #1 was transported to the hospital. He was admitted and treated for a fractured jaw and leg contusions.
