Event: 09/12/2020
Employee is killed while assisting in installation cabinets

At 3:29 p.m. on September 12, 2020, an employee was assisting a coworker to install cabinets on the beams on the underside of a patio roof. While working on the cabinets, the employee begins to feel unwell, has trouble catching his breath and kneeled on the floor. The coworker asked if the employee was okay and has him take a break. While resting, the employee lost consciousness and the coworker yelled out for help. A bystander began cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the employee while the coworker called for emergency medical services. Paramedics determined that the employee was killed by cardiac arrest.
