Employee is struck by falling wall at construction site and

At 10:00 a.m. on August 5, 2020, at a health club under construction located at the intersection of Clayton Lane and Park Place in Rio Vista, California, Employee #1 was working with two foremen when a wall fell and struck him. Employee #1 had been on-site for approximately three hours when the incident occurred. The wall was being moved by a forklift operated by another foreman, who was signaling to the forklift operator with his back to Employee #1. Employee #1 sustained serious injuries, including a broken left leg and severe head trauma, as a result of being struck by the wall. The employee was hospitalized for treatment.
