Employee incurs multiple injuries in fall from ladder

At 10:45 a.m. on June 27, 2020, an employee was conducting a node health check on the company equipment that was located at 668 Indian Mound Road, Columbus, Ohio. The employee had completed the work task and was descending down the Little Giant Hyperlite® Lightweight Extension Ladder. The employee was in between the work task location at the strand and ground level, when he fell off the ladder. The fall distance was approximately 12 feet from the location of the employee to the ground level. The employee sustained a fractured right shoulder, fractured lower right leg and chipped right heel and was hospitalized.
