Employee amputates finger while using table saw

At 7:30 a.m. on March 11, 2019, an employee was using a circular saw blade/table saw to rip/cut a plastic composite panel to make a shipping container. The plastic panel became crooked and did not directly lined up with the blade. The blade became bound and the employee attempted to reorient the panel by hand. The panel was jerked by the same blade and the employee's hand was pulled into the operating blade. The employee was hospitalized due to the amputation of his entire index finger and laceration of the thumb on the right hand.
